Rainbow from nowhere ...

Rainbow ... Amazingly it was clear blue sky and one small fluffy white cloud that produced slight rain. And it was enough for rainbow. Of course sun was in right place and time. It was sunset time. I looked out of my window when I saw the rainbow. I quickly grab a camera. And snapped same pictures :) ).

What is the meaning of a rainbow?

Rainbows speak directly to our heart and soul, filling us with awe and energies all around us. Rainbows bring the promise that the trouble of today will surely come to pass, hold strong in your faith and vision and the rainbow will bring fresh beginnings and new prosperity.

The Chinese began naming magnolias long before the 1600s.

What taxonomists and botanists call Magnolia officialis since the 1600s,

the Chinese have been calling hou po.

There seem to be as many symbol interpretations about magnolias as there are people who love magnolias:

• In Victorian times, sending flowers was a discreet way of lovers sending messages to each other. Magnolias symbolized dignity and nobility.
• In ancient China, magnolias were thought to be the perfect symbols of womanly beauty and gentleness.
• In the American South, white magnolias are commonly seen in bridal bouquets because the flowers are thought to reflect and emphasize the bride’s purity and nobility.

Next what I would like to share is a card.

Across stitch kitten was made for my mother-in-law's birthday.

I used a scrapbook paper Format A4 what is regular size of paper.

This kitten from the scripts are written by the same tales of Gregory Oster.

Cartoon chronicles the adventures of a kitten with an unusual name Gav

and his friend — the puppy Sharik.

Gav constantly gets in the ridiculous situation and finds adventure as soon as leaves the house.

He was confident that should go toward trouble,

because the old domestic cat he said: "you'll find nothing but trouble!".

He also knows how to properly divide the sausage,

why do you need a secret language,

and why be afraid of thunderstorms need along with another in the attic.

The cartoon focuses on real friendship, illustrates the care of adults of small and weak.

GECKO HAND MADE CROCHET 10" IN HEIGHT PATTERN

I made my dream come true :)

... Just look at this picture:

I made that lizard by being inspirited with Gecko insurance commercials.
Walking, talking lizard?
Can I crochet?
It took me about a month to think how to crochet and about 5 months to crochet.
I proudly can say I made it.

I used green, grey, orange and small amount red, black and white 100% cotton.

Fiberfill, chenille stem in legs, arms and tail for mobility.

Hook 1.65mm

Size of it is approximately 10in

My later creation is this cake that was made for my friend who moved another state to live.

Mini crochet cake is size of milk lid. Cake crochet with 100% cotton, flowers and trim made with orange-pink, light pink, green and blue embroidery threads in rococo style. Hook 1.65mm. Also I slightly sprayed with starch.

Patriot Bear

Patriot is a person who loves, supports, and defends his or her country
and its interests with devotion.
Believe to me a teddy bear could be a patriot also 
because was named after president.

The Patriot Bear was made for person who a real an American Patriot.

This bear made from acrylic yarn, able to move legs and arms. Hook 3.25mm. Hat and vest were made 100% cotton. Hook 1.65mm.

The vest has 25 stars. An American flag was made as magnet.

Size of bear is 4inches, the flag is approximately 1inche.

Crochet a bicycle

It is my first toy that I made without any instructions.

This crochet bicycle copy of Specialized Roubaix Bicycle made as Christmas present to my husband.

It crocheted 100% cotton blue, white, yellow and black and then starch. Hook 1.65mm. Size is approximately 4inches long and 2inches tall.

Vehicles for human transport that have two wheels and require balancing by the rider date back to the early 19th century. The first means of transport making use of two wheels arranged consecutively, and thus the archetype of the bicycle, was the German draisine dating back to 1817. The term bicycle was coined in France in the 1860s.

There are several early but unverified claims for the invention of bicycle-like machines.
The earliest comes from a sketch said to be from 1534 and attributed to Gian Giacomo Caprotti, a pupil of Leonardo da Vinci. In 1998 Hans-Erhard Lessing described this as a purposeful fraud. However, the authenticity of the bicycle sketch is still vigorously maintained by followers of Prof. Augusto Marinoni, a lexicographer and philologist, who was entrusted by the Commissione Vinciana of Rome with the transcription of da Vinci's Codex Atlanticus.
Later, and equally unverified, is the contention that Comte the Sivrac developed a célérifère in 1792, demonstrating it at the Palais-Royal in France. The célérifère supposedly had two wheels set on a rigid wooden frame and no steering, directional control being limited to that attainable by leaning.
A rider was said to have sat astride the machine and pushed it along using alternate feet. It is now thought that the two-wheeled célérifère never existed (though there were four-wheelers) and it was instead a misinterpretation by the well-known French journalist Louis Baudry de Saunier in 1891.

The Easter Bunny (also called the Easter Rabbit or Easter Hare) is a folkloric figure
and symbol of Easter, depicted as a rabbit bringing Easter eggs.
Originating among German Lutherans, the "Easter Hare" originally played the role of a judge, evaluating whether children were good or disobedient in behaviour
at the start of the season of Eastertide.

The Easter Bunny is sometimes depicted with clothes.
In legend, the creature carries colored eggs in his basket, candy,
and sometimes also toys to the homes of children, and as such shows similarities to Santa Claus
or the Christkind, as they both bring gifts to children on the night before their respective holidays.
The custom was first mentioned in Georg Franck von Franckenau's De ovis paschalibus (About Easter Eggs) in 1682 referring to a German tradition of an Easter Hare
bringing Easter eggs for the children.

A big liliy of the valley size is 4inches, a small 2.5inches.

Field knitted Patons Cha Cha 100% nylon yarn. Needles 2mm

Base is firm foam size 4X3inches.

What a great gift for a good person (Irish). I put her initial letters on front.



A leprechaun (Irish: leipreachán) is a type of fairy in Irish folklore.

They are usually depicted as little bearded men, wearing a coat and hat, who partake in mischief. They are solitary creatures who spend their time making and mending shoes

and have a hidden pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

If captured by a human, they often grant three wishes in exchange for their freedom.

Like other Irish fairies, leprechauns may be derived from the Tuatha Dé Danann.

Leprechaun-like creatures rarely appear in Irish mythology and only

became prominent in later folklore
