A "Christmas" doily

That way my husband named that doily. A simply story:

I wanted to crochet that doily in different colours then original, and it got that way.

As normally happed with my crochet project it would a gift to someone special.

The doily went to my husband coworker as a Christmas present. She was amazed.

I made it long time ago and just now showed to world. I just got a chance work with pictures.
A Christian holiday honoring the birth of Jesus Christ, Christmas evolved over two millennia into a worldwide religious and secular celebration, incorporating many pre-Christian, pagan traditions into the festivities along the way. Today, Christmas is a time for family and friends to get together and exchange gifts.

Doily, my old hard work

Doily, my old hard work that made from
many pieces of flowers, leaves and circles.
I used Irish crochet techniques for a first time.
I don't remember how many of them I crocheted.
but it took 4 ... 5 month to crochet and sew all of them together.
It was a gift for my brother-in-law and his wife.

Have you ever heard
of a flower that never needs
Water, soil, or sunshine?

A flower that stays in full bloom
Through summer and winter
Through good times and bad

A flower that rarely gets smaller,
growing endlessly.
A few lost petals,
A little droop,
but, without a doubt,
it will always regrow
into something more beautiful.

I have one of those.
I call it  Doily (Love).
