A "Christmas" doily

That way my husband named that doily. A simply story:

I wanted to crochet that doily in different colours then original, and it got that way.

As normally happed with my crochet project it would a gift to someone special.

The doily went to my husband coworker as a Christmas present. She was amazed.

I made it long time ago and just now showed to world. I just got a chance work with pictures.
A Christian holiday honoring the birth of Jesus Christ, Christmas evolved over two millennia into a worldwide religious and secular celebration, incorporating many pre-Christian, pagan traditions into the festivities along the way. Today, Christmas is a time for family and friends to get together and exchange gifts.

TOPO GIGIO

Topo Gigio was the lead character of a children's puppet show on Italian and Spanish television in the early 1960s. The character, created by artist Maria Perego, debuted on Italian television in 1959 and has been customarily voiced by actor Giuseppe "Peppino" Mazzullo. The Italian nickname "Gigi" is a derivative of Luigi ("Louis"),[1] so Topo Gigio could be translated as Louie Mouse.

The gavel & the 'sound block' for judge :)

Hi, everyone
Today I have a gavel and "sound block" for judge.

Here is a little history:
The wooden mallet that a judge uses in court is called a gavel.
Judges have them as a symbol of authority and also a forceful signal - they hit the sound block with the gavel to signal that the court is in session. They also hit it when the court is adjourned, when a sentence is passed and to demand order and silence in the courtroom.
The gavel has been used to control meetings since the middle ages and there are rules for its use in 'Robert's Rules of Order'.
I made a gavel & sound block by my husband request. Yarns used light and dark brown.
Hook 3.5mm/E/4. The gavel & sound block sizes are as the same as real ones.
I made them probably in 3 hours.
You can purchase pattern gavel & 'sound blog'

Crochet Little Bear on the Moon

Hi, everyone.
Do you think a bear can not sleep on the moon?
Sure he can. Anything is possible :)
I finished my old wish "Crochet Little Bear on the Moon" .
I crocheted bear with "Divine" Patons yarn 50/50 acrylic and wood; moon with old yarn no name.
I used hook 6.00mm/ J/10 for both. Eyes and nose bought.
Size approximately 12in. bear and moon over 12in.
The bear slightly groomed: brush and trim.

How did toy bears come to be named after President Theodore Roosevelt?
